…and Joe Biden! Ha! History was made earlier this week when Kamala Harris became the first female, first Black, and first Asian-American Vice President of the United States. “Harris’ appointment is historical on many levels, as she breaks the glass ceiling in politics for women in the executive branch” (Variety). Harris is also a member of the African American Greek-letter sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and graduated from the HBCU Howard University. Progress is being made, ladies!
