Sister’s Alliance 2020-21 Business Grant

In partnership with Insight Financial Group, Youth Legacy Foundation, and Anderson University, Sister’s Alliance now has two (2) grants available for U.S. $500 and we want you to be the first to know about them! We will be awarding these grants to Black women entrepreneurs and business owners striving to make their better their business heading into the New Year! The grant application deadline is January 8th, 2020 and the Grand Prize Winners will be announced March 16th! Be sure to apply ASAP!

It’s Not Too Late to RSVP for Sister Circle!

Our Sister Circle event is approaching fast but it’s not too late to sign up! We will be conducting a Mastermind Group where ladies are able to share their personal or business struggles in the workforce and receive feedback from the other attendees. The Group is intended to promote brainstorming, education, peer accountability, and support to sharpen business and personal skills. We’ll challenge each other to set achievable goals, and more importantly, to accomplish them!

Sister Shoutout: Ariel Cheatham

Ariel Cheatham, Owner of AC’s Cozy Comforts

In addition to being the head dance teacher at Pike High School, Cheatham is also the owner of AC’s Cozy Comforts! The freelance company was created in September of 2018 and consists of Ariel bringing all types of crochet envisions to life. She’s created everything from blankets, hats, and scarves to stuffed animals and dolls. Be sure to check out her Facebook Page and place an order! You won’t be disappointed!
